| Homeless Furniture Project |
|
This project started in 1995 in partnership with Brighton Councils “Homeless Section”, supported by the council and run for the benefit of those in need, however the most valuable support is from the many Brighton & Hove residents that donate their unwanted furniture to this valuable project.
The aim of this project is to provide basic essential items of furniture to people who have been homeless to help them settle into their new homes and hopefully prevent them from entering back into the cycle of homelessness.
Every year the project handles over 150 referrals to provide furniture for individuals and families totaling more than 1200 items of furniture.
